What is ShirShur?
ShirShur is a bilingual music education site designed to bring the joy of music creation into the lives of busy adults and curious learners of all backgrounds.
Whether you’re a hi-tech professional looking for a creative outlet or someone who once played music and wants to rekindle that spark — ShirShur helps you do it at your own pace, in your own time.
More than just lessons, ShirShur is an invitation to reconnect with something personal, joyful, and deeply human.

The Story Behind It
My name is Shraga Broyer, and music has always been my passion. For many years, I worked in the tech industry — drawn by the stability and financial security. But in 2021, everything changed: I received a family inheritance that gave me the freedom to finally follow my heart. I left my job and committed fully to the life I had always wanted — a life of music, creation, and teaching.
Since then, I’ve been working with private students and teaching music inside tech companies. I understand firsthand what professionals need: clear, flexible, inspiring lessons that fit real-life schedules.
The name ShirShur (שירשור) is a blend of the Hebrew words for “song” (שיר), “seeing” (שור), and the word for a “link”. For me, it’s a way of connecting people through music, learning, and joy — one note at a time
Who ShirShur Is For
ShirShur is for anyone who wants music to be part of their life — again, or for the first time. But it’s especially aimed at:
🎹 Busy professionals (especially in tech), who want a creative, meaningful break from their routines.
🎹 Private students of all ages, looking for personalized, patient music guidance.
The biggest challenge my students face is time. That’s why ShirShur’s lessons are short, practical, and immediately playable. You’re welcome to practice more but it’s not required. Most importantly, everyone is accepted and encouraged at their own level. There’s no pressure here.
How It Works
The site offers music lessons in both English and Hebrew, covering skills like reading music, playing chords, ear training, and basic theory — all in an accessible, stress-free format.
If you’re new, just start exploring. Watch a free lesson. Read a blog post. See if it resonates with you.
If you’re a member or student, you’ll also have access to lesson summaries, downloadable materials, and maybe even a future community space where we can grow together.
Let’s Stay In Touch
Whether you’re picking up an old instrument, curious about music, or just want something soulful in your day — ShirShur was built for you.
